Avoid a tip, hire a skip - we're the number one!
Our Soil Recycling Process
At Nolan Recycling, we repurpose surplus soil and excavation waste locally, promoting sustainable construction practices. Rather than sending tons of valuable soil to landfill, we grade and recycle clean soils, providing cost-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for landscaping, redevelopment, or fill projects.

Sustainability in Action
Step 1 - Collection / Arrival
Nolan Recycling transforms surplus and excavated soil from construction or redevelopment sites—into valuable, high-use materials, helping you avoid landfill costs and advance sustainability goals.
We accept soil via: Skip collections from construction, demolition, excavation, and land clearance sites or direct deliveries from trade or landscaping partners.
All incoming soil is screened and hand-sorted, removing contaminants like rubble, oversized debris, or pollutants, ensuring quality and compliance.
Did you know...You can hire a soil and stone skip at a reduce rate!! HOWEVER Nothing other than soil and stone are allowed in the skip or you will be charged for general waste.
Step 2 - Grading
Our recycled soil is carefully hand-sorted to remove debris and contaminants, then screened and graded using a trommel to produce high-quality, grade-specific materials such as topsoil and general fill
Step 3 - Applications of Soil
Recycled soil from our operations is redeployed for: Landscaping, restoration, garden top dressing, site grading or foundation fill for construction projects
Step 4 - Why It Matters:
Recycling soil reduces dependence on virgin topsoil extraction, conserves finite natural resources, and helps landfill diversion.
By reusing soil locally, we minimize transport emissions and preserve ecosystems, contributing to lower carbon footprints.
Local reuse of clean, graded soil reduces landfill tax exposure and aligns with circular economy principles, offering both financial and environmental advantages.
