Step 1 - Collection / Arrival

Paper waste enters our facility in two ways:

Through our own skip hire and collection services, tailored for businesses, contractors, and local authorities.

Or via direct delivery from clients, such as office clearances or trade waste partners.

Our site is equipped to handle small volumes or large-scale loads, all with quick turnaround and clear documentation.

Step 2 - Manual Sorting & Grading

All paper is hand-sorted by our experienced team to ensure that it is free from:

Plastic wraps, lamination, or bindings, food residue or liquids, non-paper materials like staples or metals

This step maximises the quality of the recycled product and ensures it meets the requirements of our end processors.

Step 3 - Baling & Transport

Once sorted, the paper is baled and transported locally to Enver Recycling, just down the road in Llandow. Keeping recycling close to home helps reduce transport emissions and supports the regional recycling economy.

At the paper mill, the material is: Pulped using water and mechanical agitation Screened to remove inks, glues, and contaminants. Cleaned and refined into high-quality pulp. Reformed into new products, including: Newspapers, Office paper, Tissue products, Cardboard and packaging

Step 4 - Why It Matters:

Recycling paper offers significant environmental advantages, reducing landfill use and methane emissions, saving up to 70% of the energy and water required to produce new paper, cutting air pollution by up to 74%, and helping to prevent deforestation. Plus, paper fibres can be recycled and reused up to 6–7 times, supporting a truly circular economy.
